Powertranz formats data and sends to the appropriate processor.

Acquiring bank processor submits authorisation request to credit card network (like Visa or MasterCard). The credit card network then routes to the issuer (the bank that issued the credit card to the customer).

Issuing bank responds with an approval (and auth code) or decline.

The processor responds to Powertranz with the response.

Powertranz updates its systems and returns the message to the merchant.
